Hey, thanks for letting me know about the Paul Revere Society, can’t wait to join, but here’s the thing, first yes dad and son love each other very much but son does not prescribe to all of Savages rants and sometimes yes B.S. however we are all americans right? what you are missing is that no matter what Savage says, you must support the right to say it! if you don’t we all will loose the 1st amendment and then slowly but surely the rest will fall! support our amendments, constitution and the right to have an argument, maybe you could change the way Savage thinks and vise versa.

Brett, I hear you so well and I understand. Bush’s generals use their stars to pick the shit of of Bush’s ass and then try to force feed it to the country. Do the employees at the VA care. Fucking right they do! They care about the salary increases, they care about their bonuses. One thing they don’t give a rats ass about is the American vet. I imagine a VA clerks idea of volunteering is sliding a needle into a six week old puppy. That’s how fucked up these bastards are.

Here is where I’m confused Joe. Why would I read the new testimate before the “old” …. That simply doesn’t follow chronology.

I have read both texts in multiple interpretations. I have read the Quaran.

I would suggest reading many pre Christian “Pagan” Texts… Those of Dionysis, Osirus, the Magi etc… and you will discover how much of the new testiment is plagerism of these texts and stories which date hundreds of years before the supposed date of Jesus. The literallist christians have done their best to stigmatize these texts and faiths, destroying as much as they could, yet still celebrating christmas on December 25th. Ever wonder why December 25th isn’t in the New Testimate? Because, like all of the other things, it was made up.
I encourage you to read the prechristian myths of the world, and you will discover that the new testimate is simply a jewish myth religion.

I say: that’s your interpretation, but Jesus never said anything like that in the new testimate. If so why not give a list of what needs to go? If it so obsolete why not take it out of the NRSV King James?

Don’t blame me for the silliness in the book. If you believe that nocternal emmisions are unclean and reason to drive someone out of camp, enjoy, but I’d rather refer to science on the phenomonon and not bullshit superstitious nonsense. We now know 83% of men experience this is in their lifetime, but back then it scared their ignorant minds.

I encourage you to rise above and question a book written by man, in the same way you question ancient traditions, question all traditions. In the US we have used this text to support Slavery, Seggregation, The Legal Murder of Mormons, the subjugation of women, and the disgusting foreign policy of imperialism our country carries out today.

If the old testimate isn’t ment to be part of the Christian faith, take it out of the Bible.

Hey Machetti,
Just so you know, many of the Jewish laws Jesus made obsolete by his radical teachings. One of the reasons they crucified him is because of his defiance of many Jewish laws. Mary Magdalene was a prostitute, and Jesus’s teachings were centered around forgiving all people instead of just the chosen people (which in the Old Testament’s case is the Jewish).
The purpose of the Old Testament in the Bible in a Christian’s view, therefore, is as one of encouragement in knowing the “awesome power of God.”

If I met ANY Christians that followed these laws, I would be extremely surprised.
It just gets me off when people don’t understand the difference between the two religions, outside of the use of the New Testament.
Part of the problem with many religions is that texts are misinterpreted by those in or outside of said religion. It might do you some good to actually read the Bible, the Koran, and other religious texts in full just to better understand the religion in and of itself. In the case of Christianity, it would do you best to read the New Testament FIRST before you go making assumptions about Christians and the Old Testament.
That being said, it is good to have an interpretation of the Bible and it’s texts, but it may be wise for you to change the word “church” to “temple” and the word “Christian” to “Jew.” That’s all I have to say.

JBut here is a run down of the Republic candidates and my opinion on them:
Sam Brownback – The definition of what is wrong with Kansas
Jim Gilmore – Smooth talkin’ southerner with no press coverage.
Rudy Giuliani – For your cooperation in assisting the destruction of the world trade center, we, the NEO-Cons, will allow you to be president for 4 years, thank you for blowing up building 7 and covering up the evidence.
Mike Huckabee – The day a reverend becomes president, I move. Unless it’s a black reverend with crazy hair.
Duncan Hunter – A lesser evil, but still hates mexicans and is Lou Dobb’s candidate.
John McCain – Manchurian Candidate? I dunno. You use to be a rebel and now you are a tool of the administration, what the fuck happened? Did someone promise you the election? Who is pulling your strings?
Ron Paul – The closest to sanity.
Mitt Romney – Lets meet your 3 wives. A man that handsome should be able to spread the love around.
Tom Tancredo – I have never seen anyone that hates mexicans more. Future leader of the Minute Men / KKK. But at least he is smart enough to not suck on Bush’s teet.
Fred Dalton Thompson – Reminds me of my dad. The polite southern gentleman will charm his way to the white house. Bye bye all progress from the past 20 years.
Tommy Thompson – I’d love to sit back have a PBR with this Wisconsin Native…. topics to be discussed: A. What happened to your sideburns, B HealthCare. Unelectable.
Newt Gingrich – You’ve gotta be fucking kidding me.
Chuck Hagel – I could tolerate 4 years of Chuck.

I am always interested in the psychology and language used in politics. Giuliani used negative comments over and over, scoffed at the other canidates and had poor posture. John McCain was really going overboard with saying ‘my friend’…you sir are NOT my friend. and dont get me started with Romney….that guy is a complete joke…he should be doing ads for mens hair dye, not running for president.

I am still undecided, but I have almost for myself being charmed by the beaming white smile of Jonh Edwards..
